I thank you for all the cooperation and patience in reaching to this point. Late last week I got the Editor’s copy of the Handbook. It looks as expected “impressive” especially after the formidable task we undertook. This is undeniably because of your contribution and effort.
Now before we close this endeavor, I need to make sure that all your addresses are correct. Please make sure that they are correct for ASME Press to FedEx (or similar fast delivery) of the complimentary copy to you.
I have in green background in the address file ‘address confirmations I received from you.
If there is no background, it implies I did not get a ‘recent’ address confirmation after my June 12th home page request. Even so, I would like you to go through your address very carefully lest the package remains ‘uncollected’ and is returned back to ASME, after which they CANNOT RESEND THE PACKAGE.
Your cooperation by a mere address ok from you would be much appreciated. I know that I am in constant communication with several of you and am more than certain that the addresses that are not highlighted are OK. Even so, please reconfirm. For example, few of you whose addresses have not got any background have multiple (and confusing addresses). Please eliminate the ambiguity and make it simple with:
Name (salutations are optional)
Street Address (NOT PO BOX), including mail stop, if any
City, State, Zip Code (if overseas, name of Country)
Tel #s including cell #s, if any;
Email address (do not omit this just because you are emailing the note).
Those of you whose address is highlighted with green background may disregard this message, unless you intend to fine tune what is already there..
I need all of the above information latest by July 24th, 2011 since the books are ready to send to each of you. I expect them to start shipping once I send the final address list to ASME.
